This weekend, Daddy and Poppo built the girls a sandbox. We could have bought one, but Chris really wanted to build one like he had when he was little. They did a great job and the girls love it!

Christmas week . . . it has been pretty low key here this week. I'm enjoying having all my shopping done, presents wrapped, and cards sent off. No real big plans on the Holmes front, just enjoying time at home listening to Chrismas music and watching plenty of Christmas movies. Chris has to work on Christmas Eve, so once he gets home, we will head over to Gramma & Poppo's to celebrate Christmas with them and have prime rib for dinner (yummy)! On Christmas, it will be just us. We plan to have a great day at home with the kids and will have turkey. We are also planning a Birthday Party for Jesus that afternoon, so it should be fun. Then my mom comes on Sunday for a week long visit. The highlight so far this week has been . . . . popcorn heaven . . . . thanks Dad & Pam (one bag is gone already!).

Awesome sand box! Good job Chris & Neal. Geez popcorn. Looks like you'll need to work out extra hard after Christmas to burn some calories. :)
