Busy Weekend

Chris' Great Aunt Dee came to town for the holiday. It was nice seeing her, as we don't see her too often. Emma just couldn't wait to see Aunt Dee Dee. Here is Emma and Dee sitting in her play room. Not quite sure how Dee got up, but they had fun. . . .

Thanksgiving Day started out with the Martha's Village and Kitchen Walk. The bank made everyone shirts that walked, so the girls thought that was pretty cool to have a 1stBank shirt on. The walk was 5k and they did great in their new wagon! It was about 65-70 that morning, so it was perfect!! After the walk we headed to Chris' folks for dinner. Had great food and ate way too much! On Friday, we watch the Huskers and oh my, what a game! Yesterday it seemed like all we did was shopped. We got most of the girls' Christmas shopping done, so we feel better . . .

Yesterday, we got a few extra Christmas decorations. Emma was very concerned that we didn't have a star. She picked this one out . . .
And oh my, I am so proud of Chris. This is the very first year in the 14 years we have been together that he put up Christmas lights. I was SOOOO excited! It helped that everyone else on our block was putting up lights. Woo hoo!!

I'm so impressed that you're putting up lights. I've been trying to get Derek to do that for years! Maybe we will too by the time we're together 14 years!

Look at that - putting up Christmas lights in shorts, a short sleeve shirt and flip flops! Dang California weather! It was 30 degrees or so when Lyman put up ours.

Great pics.
