Well, we arrived here just in time for record highs. Aren't we just the luckiest people? It has definitely been HOT, HOT, HOT. We try to do everything in the morning and stay inside in the afternoon. This morning, we went to the park in La Quinta because it is big and it is covered. Stayed about an hour before Ellie was READY to go home (like her mother, she doesn't sweat, so she tends to get overheated fairly quickly). They were glad to be out of the house and had a good time. Of course, we were the only ones there because who would go to the park at 7:45AM when it is already 92? Well, WE WOULD!
